The Ford and Young Funeral Home has announced the passing of 79-year-old Doris Lavern Stueve of Perryville, Mo. who passed away Saturday, September 9, 2023 at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
She was born December 25, 1943 in Perryville, Mo. to Edmund and Myrtle (Cox) Weibrecht who both preceded her in death.
Doris and Emil Stueve were married October 21, 1961 in Perry County Missouri. He preceded her in death July 27, 2022.
Survivors include five sons: David (Brenda) Stueve of Frohna, Mo., Danny (Diane) Stueve, Donnie (Sarah) Stueve, Gene (Adam) Stueve, and Robert (Chandra) Stueve; two daughters: Debbie (Kevin) Petty, and Deane (Eric) Reed; four brothers: Glennon Weibrecht, James Weibrecht, Stanley (Linda) Weibrecht, and Allen (Doris) Weibrecht; two sisters: Marilyn (Joe) Tressler and Penny Thompson; 17 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; two brothers: Kenny Weibrecht and Ivan Weibrecht.
She was of the Lutheran Faith.
She was a homemaker.
Doris loved the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing with her husband Emil. She also had a creative eye and enjoyed sewing.
