A graveside service will be held Saturday, August 26, 2023 for 83-year-old Lois Irene Bryant of Sainte Genevieve, Mo. who passed away Sunday, August 20, 2023 at her home in Sainte Genevieve, Mo.
She was born January 13, 1941 in Jerseyville, Ill., the daughter of Beatrice Davis and Laverne “Buck” H Davis who both preceded her in death.
She married Thomas Bryant July 25, 1959. He preceded her in death.
She is survived by two sons: Neal (Laura) Bryant of Steeleville, Ill. and Nick (Catie Gummels) Bryant of Sainte Genevieve, Mo.; grandchildren: Lacey (Brian) Rapp, Christina (Travis) Steining, Chelsey (Cameron) Murray, Courtney (Vito) Orlando, and Josh (Michelle) Bryant; and 12 great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by a brother: Larry Davis.
Lois was a member of Eastern Star and a devout Christian who loved to listen to and watch Christian TV shows singing gospel music.
She enjoyed baking and cooking for her family.
Lois loved to crochet, sing, write poetry, and read her Bible.
She will be remembered for her pure joy and excitement to see her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren and her divine ability to make each person she met feel special.
A graveside service for 83-year-old Lois Irene Bryant of Sainte Genevieve, Mo. will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, August 26, 2023 at Valhalla Memorial Park in Godfrey, Ill., 2308 W. Delmar Avenue.
There will be a celebration of life September 9, 2023 at Neal’s house.
