Glennon C. Cabral

A funeral will be held Thursday, July 20, 2023 for 93-year-old Glennon C. Cabral of Sainte Genevieve, Mo. who passed away Saturday, July 15, 2023 at her home.

 

He was born August 16, 1929 in St Louis, Mo.

 

He married Mary Ellen (Herzog) Cabral September 26, 1959

 

He is survived by his wife: Mary Ellen Cabral of Sainte Genevieve, Mo.; six sons: Michael Cabral of Sainte Genevieve, Mo., Mark (Amy) Cabral of Sainte Genevieve, Mo., Jeff Cabral of St. Peters, Mo., Chris (Lori) Cabral of Sainte Genevieve, Mo., Terry (Kate) Cabral of Melbourne, Fla., Todd Cabral of Jackson, Mo.; his daughter: Lisa Cabral of Sainte Genevieve, Mo.; two sisters: Delores Oberle of Sainte Genevieve, Mo. and Marilyn Wehner of Sainte Genevieve, Mo.; a brother: Christy (Cheryl) Cabral of Alma, Georgia; grandchildren: Brad (Jolene), Philip ( Rachel), Daniel (Ashley) Cabral; Cory, Christopher and Maria Cabral; Peyton and Kamaryn Cabral; Morgan (Dylan) Cochran; Ethan and Colby Boatright; great grandchildren: Josey, Caiden and Alena Cabral.

 

He was also preceded in death by his father: Christiano Cabral; and mother: Christine (Knoke) Cabral.

 

He was a member of VFW Post 2210, Am. Legion Post 150.  Glennon was a retired Marine who served his country and fought in the Korean War.

 

He loved to be around his family and watch them play sports.

 

Glennon played high school football for the Ste. Genevieve High School Dragons.

 

He loved camping, fishing and working in the garden.  

 

Glennon was also employed for Citizen Electric Corporation in Ste. Genevieve for over 20 years.

 

Visitation will be 9-11 a.m. Thursday, July 20, 2023 at Basler Funeral Home in Sainte Genevieve, Mo.

 

A funeral for 93-year-old Glennon C. Cabral of Sainte Genevieve will be held at Basler Funeral Home at 11 a.m. Thursday, July 20, 2023. Officiated by Dylan Cochran.

 

Burial will be at Crestlawn Cemetery in Sainte Genevieve, Mo. with full military honors performed by VFW Post 2210.
