Jean E. Corse, 87, of Perryville, Missouri passed away Thursday, July 13, 2023 at Independence Care Center in Perryville.
She was born April 7, 1936 in Perryville, Mo. to Woodrow Wilson and Virda Imogene (Hunt) Schrumpf.
Jean and Kenneth E. Corse were married October 2, 1954. He proceeded her in death on July 5, 2009.
She was a case worker with State of Missouri, a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church and Perryville Order of the Eastern Star.
She was a dedicated volunteer for numerous organizations in her community.
Survivors include three daughters: Michele K. (William) Aye of Mooresville, N.C., Cheryl A. Wibbenmeyer of Perryville, Mo., Jan L. (Kevin) Parson of Mooresville, N.C.; two sisters: Judith Starzinger of Jackson, Mo., and Carole Dabbs of Tuscumbia, Ala.; three brothers: Michael (Terri) Schrumpf of Perryville, Mo., Edward Schrumpf of Perryville, Mo., and David (Shirley) Schrumpf of St. Louis, Mo.; five grandchildren: Craig (Lori), Daniel (Kate), Jessica (Richard) Keith, and Alicia; 10 great-grand children: Tyler, Riley, Caleb, Reece, Anna, Brody, Mia, Marissa, Mckenzie, and Kenlee.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, son-in-law: James Wibbenmeyer, and two brothers-in-law: Don Starzinger and Jim Dabbs.
Visitation will be 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, July 29, 2023 at Bethlehem Baptist Church in Crosstown, Mo.
Funeral Service will be at 2 p.m. at Bethlehem Baptist Church in Crosstown with Rev. Steve Francis officiating.
Burial will be at Bethlehem Baptist Church Cemetery in Crosstown.
Memorial contributions may be given to Bethlehem Baptist Church in Crosstown, Mo. or Perryville Order of the Eastern Star.
