CHESTER – Chester beat Murphysboro 6-5.
The 9th seed Yellowjackets play 10th seed Pinckneyville today at 4:30 in the DuQuoin Sectional.
PERRYVILLE – Third seed St. Vincent beat sixth seed Bloomfield 5-4 Friday in the Class 2 District 3 tournament at Chaffee. They play Saxony Lutheran today at 6:15.
JACKSON – Saxony Lutheran beat Puxico 14-2 Friday.
PERRYVILLE – Perryville lost to Herculenum 3-2 in the Class 4 District 1 tournament at Malden. The Pirates finish the season with an 8-19 record.
STE. GENEVIEVE – Valle has the top seed in the Class 3 District 3 Tournament at Park Hills. The Warriors play fourth seed Clearwater. Clearwater beat Arcadia Valley 12-10 Saturday.
STE. GENEVIEVE – Ste. Genevieve has the third seed in Class 4 District 2. They play second seed Potosi at 6 p.m. tonight at Ste. Genevieve.
Softball
STE. GENEVIEVE – Valle plays Risco Tuesday in Risco in a sectional round game.
CHESTER – Chester lost to Anna-Jonesboro 8-1 Friday.
The Yellowjackets will play at home today against Sparta as the regional tournament begins.
Soccer
PERRYVILLE – St. Vincent beat Sikeston 8-0 in the Class 3 District 1 tournament in Imperial.
They play fourth seed Cape Central or fifth seed Festus Wednesday at 5.
PERRYVILLE – Perryville girls got the win in the opening game of Class 2 District 1 8-0 over North County, but it took 3 1/2 hours to play 40 minutes due to lightning delays and finally got home at 8:10 p.m. from a 3:30 p.m. game.
They play again today at St. Pius against Fredericktown at 4 p.m.
JACKSON – Saxony Lutheran has the top seed in the Class 1 District 1 Tournament in Benton.
They play fourth seed Kelly or fifth seed Hancock Wednesday. Kelly and Hancock play today at 6 p.m.
Track and Field
STE. GENEVIEVE – Valle participated in the State Class 2 Sectional Meet at New Haven Saturday.
The Valle girls came in sixth with 34 points.
The Valle boys came in fifth with 50 points.
PERRYVILLE – St. Vincent participated in the Class 1 state sectional meet at New Haven Saturday.
The St. Vincent boys came in sixth place with 46 points.
The St. Vincent girls came in ninth with 29 points.

PERRYVILE – Perryville participates in the Class 4 District 1 meet at Hillsboro Saturday
STE. GENEVIEVE – The SGHS boys track team traveled to Cape Saturday to compete in the Class 3 District 1 Track Meet.
As a team the boys finished sixth out of 12 teams.
Individual qualifiers for Sectionals next weekend include:

STE. GENEVIEVE – Ste Genevieve is sending golfers Aiden Boyer, Carter Burr and Gavin Huck to the Class 3 State Golf Tournament at Meadow Lake Acres Country Club in New Bloomfield today and Tuesday.
PERRYVILLE –- The St. Vincent golf team is sending Grant Abernathy, Garrett Brickhaus, Samuel Gregory Koishor and Payton Strattman to the Class 1 state golf tournament at Country Club of Missouri in Columbia today and Tuesday.
JACKSON – Saxony Lutheran is sending one golfer, Michael Hasz, to the Class 1 golf tournament in Columbia in today and Tuesday.
