Randall ‘Randy’ Paul Kertz

A funeral will be held Tuesday, April 25, 2023 for 68-year-old Randall “Randy” Paul Kertz of St. Louis, Mo. who passed away Thursday, April 20, 2023 at the Green Park Nursing Home in St. Louis, Mo.

 

He was born April 27, 1954 in Perryville, Mo., the son of Donald Kertz and Bernadine (Fallert) Kertz, who both preceded him in death.

 

He is also survived by two sons: Chris (Ronda) Kertz of Imperial, Mo. and Jared (Sara) Kertz of Columbia, Ill.; four brothers: Robert “Bob” Kertz of Arnold, Mo., Kenny (Patsy) Kertz of Red Bud, Ill., Wayne (Leann) Kertz of Mountain View, Wyoming, Carl (Malia) Kertz of Rio Rancho, N.M.; five sisters: Mary (Ken) Stuppy of Sainte Genevieve, Mo., Elaine (Finley) Macklin of Sainte Genevieve, Mo., Donna (Kenny) Williams of Saint Mary, Mo., Lisa (John) Buettner of Mariposa, Calif., Anita (Keith) Haskell of St. Louis, Mo.; five randchildren: Samantha, Cassidy, Chloe, Ashlyn, and Easton; and several nieces and nephews.

 

He was also preceded in death by a brother: Gary Kertz.

 

Visitation will be 10-11 a.m. Tuesday, April 25, 2023 at the Basler Funeral Home in Sainte Genevieve, Mo.

 

A funeral for 68-year-old Randall “Randy” Paul Kertz of St. Louis, Mo. will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, April 25, 2023 at the Basler Funeral Home in Ste. Genevieve. The Rev. Roger Faulkner will officiate.

 

Burial will follow at Crestlawn Cemetery in Sainte Genevieve, Mo.

 

Memorials may be made to the National MS Society.

 

Randy was a deacon at First Baptist Church starting in 1997.

 

He enjoyed watching sports, especially Cardinals baseball and Mizzou football, and game shows.
