Missouri releases January 2023 Monthly Jobs Report

JEFFERSON CITY – Missouri non-farm payroll employment increased by 11,600 jobs from December 2022 to January 2023, and the seasonally adjusted unemployment rate remained unchanged at 2.7 percent in January 2023. Private industry employment increased by 12,200 jobs, and government employment decreased by 600 jobs. Over the year, there was an increase of 83,100 jobs
