STE, GENEVIEVE – Chase Thomas Fallert has been selected as the Valle Catholic High School Elks Student of the Month for March.
Chase Thomas Fallert is the son of Nicholas and Jamie Fallert.
Chase is ranked in the top ten of his class and has been on High Honors all four years of high school. He has been freshman treasurer, junior vice president, an ambassador for four years, member of loud crowd for four years, a member of National Honors Society for two years and was voted as the Junior Homecoming Escort.
Chase has also been a member of the high school football, basketball, and baseball teams for all four years. As a member of these teams, he was given the opportunity to help at several youth summer camps for football and basketball. He was chosen as a co-captain of football his senior year and co-captain of basketball his junior and senior years. In each of these sports, he has received several awards. In football, he was named to the KTJJ Dream Team as a sophomore and as a senior. He received all-conference honors for two years, all-district honors for two years, all-region honors for three years, and all-state honors for two years. His sophomore and senior years, he earned academic all-state honors. In basketball, he received all-conference for two years, all-district for two years, all-tournament team for three different tournaments and the Defensive Coach’s award for two years. In baseball, he received all-conference and all-district for two years and all-state for one year. He also earned academic all-state in baseball and the MSHSAA Award of Excellence.
Besides volunteering with the school and sports teams, he has volunteered with the Vincentian Youth Ministry at Operation Overhaul and has volunteered with his family raising money for the ALS Association. He has recently joined the Knights of Columbus as a 2nd Degree Knights.
Chase is a referee for the RW Thomas basketball league and an umpire for the RiverDog baseball tournaments. He has been hired as an intern for Bloomsdale Excavating this summer. After high school, Chase plans to attend a four year university and earn a bachelor’s degree in Construction Management.
