CHESTER — The Chester girls track team participated in the SIU Invite Friday and Saturday along with 31 other 1A-3A teams from across the region.
Chester individual results:
Emma Eggemeyer was fourth in shot.
Paige Vasquez was fifth in the triple jump.
Jazzi Merideth was eighth in the 60-meter hurdles.
The 4×400 relay came in 10th (Jazzi Merideth, Mabry Wingerter, Josalynn Anaya and Gianna Eggemeyer).
Gianna Eggemeyer also came in 13th in the 400.
The 4×200 relay team came 14th (Jazzi Merideth, Mabry Wingerter, Cailey Marie and Gianna Eggemeyer).
The Yellow Jackets travel to the Murphysboro COED Meet Saturday, March 17.
