PERRYVILLE – Perry County Sheriff Jason Klaus has announced former Ste. Genevieve Police Officer Pete Unverferth has been selected as the new Jail Administrator for the Perry County Sheriff’s Office.
Sheriff Klaus said, “Captain Unverferth will lead a dedicated jail staff and bring a new vision to the jail operation.”
Unverferth was recently sworn in as a commissioned Deputy Sheriff by Circuit Clerk Jennifer Hotop.
