Boys’ Basketball
STE. GENEVIEVE – Ste. Genevieve’s varsity topped Farmington last night.
The varsity Dragons came away with their 15th win of the season, 52-46.
The junior varsity lost 30-26 and the freshmen fell 30-28.
Ste. Genevieve has the No. 2 seed in the MAAA Conference Tournament. They have a first-round bye and will play the winner of Saturday’s game between No. 7 Kingston and No. 10 Arcadia Valley Tuesday at 7 p.m. at Mineral Area College.
STE. GENEVIEVE – West County edged Valle last night 67-64.
Valle has the fourth seed in the MAAA Conference Tournament and will have a first round bye and then play the winner of the fifth seed North County vs 12th seed Bismarck Monday at 8:30 at Mineral Area College.
CHESTER – Chester plays at Red Bud tonight at 7:30.
JACKSON – Saxony Lutheran hosts St. Paul Lutheran in Farmington tonight at 7:30.
PERRYVILLE – St. Vincent plays St. Pius X tonight at 7:30.
PERRYVILLE – Perryville may host De Soto tonight at 4:30. It is uncertain due to the weather.
Girls’ Basketball
PERRYVILLE – Perryville won last night. Perryville 53 De Soto 39. The Lady Pirates next scheduled game is at Windsor Monday.
STE. GENEVIEVE — Ste. Genevieve has the No. 7 seed in the MAAA Conference Tournament. The Dragons will play Valley of Caledonia at 5 p.m. Saturday at Bismarck.
STE. GENEVIEVE – Valle lost to Fredericktown Catholic 52 – 16
Valle has the 11th seed in the MAAA Conference Tournament which begins tomorrow and continues through next Saturday. Valle will play sixth seed Potosi at 6:30 pm Saturday at Bismarck.
CHESTER – Chester host DuQuoin Saturday at 1:30.
JACKSON – Saxony Lutheran plays at Poplar Bluff Monday at 7:30 p.m.
PERRYVILLE – St. Vincent was scheduled to play Crystal City, but the score was not reported.
The Lady Indians host Herculaneum Monday at 7:30.
Wrestling
STE. GENEVIEVE – Valle wrestled in a tri-match with Herculaneum and Maplewood last night.
Valle topped Herculaneum 45-33 and defeated Maplewood 42-22.
Herculaneum defeated Maplewood 30-10.
Valle Catholic next wrestles in districts February 17 and 18.
STE. GENEVIEVE – Ste. Genevieve High School wrestles in the Class 2 State Tournament February 22-25.
