Clyde Robert Hoover 71 years old of Bloomsdale, MO. died Tuesday, January 3, 2023 at his home in Bloomsdale, Mo.
He was born January 29, 1951 in Bloomsdale, Mo.
He married Jeri (Heibel) Hoover June 19, 1976.
He is survived by his wife: Jeri Hoover of Bloomsdale, Mo.; two daughters: Bobbi Hoover of Farmington, Mo., Becky Hoover of Farmington, Mo.; three brothers: Frank (Joy) Hoover of Bloomsdale, Mo., John S. (Sharon) Hoover of Saint Louis, Mo., and Mike Hoover of Herculaneum, Mo.; three sisters: Donna Kennedy of Festus, Mo., Sandra (Steve) Clemens of Sainte Genevieve, Mo., and Linda Sue Lewis of Sainte Genevieve, Mo.; grandchildren: Bali Hoover, Easton (Melissa) Ketcherside, Grant Hoover; Great-Grandchild, Emery Ketcherside; and many nieces and nephews.
He was also preceded in death by his father: Walter Hoover; mother: Niomi “Margaret” Hoover; and brother-in-law, Jim Kennedy.
Visitation will be at the Basler Funeral Home in Sainte Genevieve, Mo. Tuesday, January 10, 2023 from 10 a.m. until noon. There will be some time for family to share stories and refreshments before going to the cemetery.
A graveside service for 71-year-old Clyde Robert Hoover of Bloomsdale will be Tuesday, January 10, 2023 around 1 p.m. at Concord Cemetery in Bloomsdale, Mo.
Memorials may be made to family use.
Clyde was passionate about his dogs and loved his family, playing pool, and watching The Three Stooges.
He enjoyed learning about history and making people laugh.
