Susan Mulholland, 62, of Ellis Grove, Illinois passed away Wednesday, January 4, 2023 at her daughter’s residence.
She was born January 10, 1960 in Saint Louis City, MO to Ezra R. and Effie V. (Douglas) Pruett.
She and Richard A. Mulholland Sr. were married on April 18, 1977 in St. Charles, MO. He preceded her in death in April of 2016.
She was a member of the Christian faith.
Susan worked for The State of Illinois as a Psychiatric Nurse for the Chester Mental Health program. She was a very kind and loving person, known for the great care she took of her family, especially her children. She was an amazing wife, mother, grandmother, sister and aunt.
Survivors include: one son, Richard A. Mulholland, Jr. of Ellis Grove, Il; two daughters, Megan E. (Fiancée James Alvarez) Mulholland of Perryville, MO, Ashley R. Mulholland of Sparta, IL; four sisters, Shirey A. Smiley of Fenton, MO, Georgia L. Usselton of Arnold, MO, Rose E. Fletcher of St. Louis County, MO, Mary J. Smiley of Hillsboro, MO; sister-in-law, Darla (Mulholland) Trittler of Foley, MO; five grandchildren, Kara M. Mulholland, Blake A. Mitchell, Sophie R. Cole, Ashton J. Cole, Freddie E. Alvarez.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; two sisters, Lois J. Goebel, Betty L. Voyles.
A Memorial service will be held at a later date.
