A funeral will be held Saturday, Dec. 17, 2022 for 80-year-old Robert E. Rehm of Sainte Genevieve who passed away Friday, December 9, 2022 at his home in Sainte Genevieve, Mo.
He was born September 17, 1942 in Cypress, Ill., the son of Meyers “Mike” Rehm and Goldie M. (LaBruyere) Rehm, who both preceded him death.
He married Bonita (Bullard) Rehm on June 11, 1963. She survives in Ste. Genevieve.
He is also survived by two daughters: Jeanne Huling of Morton, Ill., and Cathy (Roger) Heil of Sainte Genevieve, Mo.; a son: Kevin Rehm of Sainte Genevieve, Mo.; a brother: Ronald “Ronnie” Rehm of Sainte Genevieve, Mo.; two sisters: Brenda (Don) Boyer of Ste. Genevieve, Mo., and Mary Graham of Sainte Genevieve, Mo.; grandchildren: Samuel Jones, Daniel (Brittany) Huling, Seth (Lauren) Huling, Alexandra (Kristian) Nelson, Catherine Huling; Robert M. Rehm; Maegan (Sheldon) Deimund, Micah Klein, Jenna Heil, Miah Klein, and Jeremy Heil; great grandchildren: Evelyn, Norah, Sebastian, Tanner, Paisley, Oakley, Annalise, and Elea.
He was also preceded in death by: a son: Michael Rehm; a son-in-law: James Huling; and a granddaughter, Rachelle L. Rehm.
Bob and Bonita owned and operated Rehm’s Place in Ste. Genevieve from 1991-2013.
Bob served in the United States Marine Corp from 1960 till 1964. He was a lifetime member of the VFW Post 2210, American Legion Post 150 and 40/8 Voiture Post 1321.
A funeral for 80-year-old Robert E. Rehm of Sainte Genevieve will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, December 17, 2022 at Valle Spring Cemetery. The Rev. Benjamin Chapman will officiate.
Burial will be at Valle Spring Cemetery in Sainte Genevieve, Mo. with military services performed by VFW Post 2210.
Following the services at the cemetery there will be a meal at the Ste. Genevieve American Legion Hall for family and close friends.
