STE. GENEVIEVE – The Ste. Genevieve girls had excellent runs in the Class 3 District 1 meet Saturday at Arcadia Valley.
Hollyn Zangaro won the girls race and was named district champion.
Other girls who finished in the top 30 and also earned All-District Honors were: Sophia Fritsch-27th, Olivia Klump-23rd, Sadie Greminger-20th, and Dakotah Medows-8th.
The girls cross country team qualified them for the state cross country meet Saturday in Columbia.
This is the first time the girls have qualified a full team to the state cross country meet since 2015.
