A memorial mass will be held Saturday, September 24, 2022 for 87-year-old Joan Ann Hotop of Perryville, Mo. who passed away Tuesday, September 20, 2022 at Estates of Perryville.
She was born December 22, 1934 in St. Louis, Mo. to William and Martha (Justen) Morrissey.
Joan and Elwin E. Hotop were married May 3, 1958 in St. Louis, Mo.
Survivors include her daughter: Tammy (Rick) Underwood; two grandchildren: James (Katelyn) Rice and Kristen Rice; dear friends: Bryon and Laura McClure and their two children.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; two sisters: Martha “Jane” Morrissey and Margaret Morrisey; and one brother: Robert Morrissey.
She was a homemaker.
She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Highland.
Joan was an amazing cook, known for her St. Patrick’s Day meals she loved to prepare annually.
Visitation will be from 8-10 a.m. Saturday, September 24, 2022 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Highland.
A memorial mass for 87-year-old Joan Ann Hotop of Perryville, Mo. will follow at 10 a.m. with the Fr. Mark Pranaitis officiating.
Burial of cremains will be at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Highland.
