A funeral will be held Monday, September 26, 2022 for 89-year-old Annamarie Ernst of Perryville, Mo. who passed away Monday, September 19, 2022 at her residence.
She was born March 10, 1933 in Uniontown, Mo. to Leo and Gertrude (Unterreiner) Balsman.
She and Bernie A. Ernst Sr. were married June 19, 1954 at Apple Creek, Mo.
Survivors include three daughters: Debra Ernst of Imperial, Mo., Wanda (Craig) Modde of Festus, Mo., and Gina (John) Weinkein of Perryville, Mo.; four sons: Randy (Donna) Ernst of St. Louis, Mo., Derek (Helen) Ernst of St. Louis, Mo., Brad (Lisa) Ernst of Imperial, Mo., and Bernie Ernst Jr. of Chester, Ill.; a brother: Leo (Carol) Balsman Jr. of Apple Creek, Mo.; a sister: Jean Ann (Bob) Buerck of Perryville, Mo; 10 grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband and her parents.
She was a homemaker. She was a member of St. Vincent de Paul, a member of the Ladies Sodality, a retired Eucharist Minister, and a retired American Legion auxilian.
Visitation will be 2-5 p.m. on Sunday, September 25, 2022 at Ford & Young Funeral Home in Perryville.
Visitation will continue on Monday, September 26, 2022 from 8-9:30 a.m. The rosary will be recited at 8:45 am.
A funeral mass for 89-year-old Annamarie Ernst of Perryville will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, September 26, 2022 at St. Vincent De Paul Catholic Church in Perryvillle, Mo. with the Rev. Joe Geders, C.M. officiating.
Burial will be at Mt. Hope Cemetery in Perryville.
