A funeral will be held Saturday, December 10, 2022 for 82-year-old John Sexauer of Bloomsdale, Mo. who passed away Tuesday, September 6, 2022 at his residence in Bloomsdale, Mo.
He was born May 26, 1940 in St. Louis, Mo.
He is survived by a daughter: Annie (Alyson Bull) Sexauer of South Deerfield, Mass.; two sons: Joseph (Krisann Rehbein) Sexauer of Milwaukee, Wisc. and William Sexauer of Tulsa, Okla.; two sisters: Ann (John) Basler and Mary “Mimi” Sexauer; a brother: Charles (Diane) Sexauer; grandchildren: Aliyah, Allston, Avery, and Lillian; and several nieces and nephews
He was preceded in death by his mother: Regina (Hoog) Sexauer; father: George Sexauer; and brother: Arthur W. Sexauer.
Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. Friday, September 9, 2022 at the Basler Funeral Home in Sainte Genevieve, Mo.
A funeral for 82-year-old John Sexauer of Bloomsdale will be held at St. Agnes Church at 10 a.m. Saturday, September 10, 2022. The Clergy will be the Rev. Michael Benz.
Burial will be at Valle Spring Cemetery.
Memorials can be made to Alzheimer’s Association.
John was an accomplished physician and avid hunter and fisherman. He was known as a generous and peaceful man who was a loving father and good friend to many.
