Theresa A Winschel, 60, of Perryville, Missouri passed away Saturday, July 30, 2022.
She was born May 30, 1962 in Perryville, MO to Hubert A. and Virginia M (Pingel) Winschel.
Theresa worked at Gilster-Mary Lee for many years before changing her career to Wal-Mart. She enjoyed spending her day off volunteering with the Auxiliary of Perry County Memorial Hospital.
She was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church.
Theresa loved spending her time with friends and family. Her daughter, nieces and nephews were a big part of her life, as well as many other children she treated like family. Theresa had a very caring heart and her friends and family knew they could always count on her in a time of need. She loved to travel. Her favorite place to go was Graceland in Memphis, the home of Elvis Presley. Her love of Elvis was well known.
Survivors include daughter, Michelle Winschel (fiance, Joel Peirick) of Perryville, MO; two brothers, Ricky (Mary Ann) Winschel of St. Mary, MO; Mark (Margery) Winschel of Perryville, MO; three sisters, Barb (Bob) Hagan of Perryville, MO; Mary Roth of Perryville, MO; Jennifer Winschel of Perryville, MO; many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Monday, August 8, 2022 and will continue from 8:00 am to 9:30 am on Tuesday, August 9, 2022 at Ford & Young Funeral Home in Perryville.
Mass will be at 10:00 am Tuesday, August 9, 2022 at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Perryville with Rev. Mark Pranaitis officiating.
Following Funeral Mass, burial will be at St. Michael’s Catholic Cemetery in Apple Creek.
Memorial contributions may be given to Crown Hospice.
