Cape Girardeau Miracle-Ear’s charitable efforts lead national ranking

CAPE GIRARDEAU – Miracle-Ear’s Cape Girardeau store has been recognized by the MiracleEar national office for its charitable efforts in fundraising and helping connect individuals with free hearing aids.

The Miracle-Ear Foundation is a charitable organization that works with local franchises to provide “The Gift of Sound” to adults and children who could not otherwise afford hearing aids.

The Foundation recently announced the Cape Girardeau store leads the nation in its Foundation Pride Report rankings through May of 2022. The Pride Report highlights the top Miracle-Ear stores nationwide based on fundraising and hearing aid fittings. The highest ranked stores at the end of the year will be honored as Top Providers at Miracle-Ear’s annual convention. Miracle-Ear of Cape Girardeau has successfully fit 15 individuals with free hearing aids through the Foundation thus far in 2022 in addition to collecting $2,300 in donations.

The Cape Girardeau staff of Kyle Griffin, Amy Hopper and Barbara Kirn has set a goal of collecting $5,000 in donations for the Foundation by the end of the year.

“We are passionate about helping everyone with a hearing loss, regardless of income or life circumstances,” said Molly Hill Ford, managing partner of Miracle-Ear Centers Serving Southeast Missouri. “We are so proud of our Cape team for all the work they have put in collection donations and connecting people with the Gift of Sound. They are certainly deserving of this recognition.”

Individuals who feel they may qualify for hearing health assistance through the Foundation can set up a free hearing evaluation by calling 1-877-4MYEARS or by setting up an appointment at miracle-ear.com.
