This year, the total amount raised by all locations was $5239. Buchheit of Perryville donated their proceeds to the Perryville Animal Control. The funds raised were presented in the form of a Buchheit gift card, so necessary supplies such as food, kennels and other necessities were able to be purchased immediately on site.

Buchheit is proud to support local animal shelters and rescue organizations around each of their retail locations, most of which are non-profit organizations who rely on donations from to public to keep their doors open. Many of these organizations donate food or money for necessary procedures to pet owners who can’t afford the expense otherwise. To show support for these integral organizations, Buchheit holds an annual Pet Pantry fundraiser where customers are asked to donate $1 or $5 to their local shelter. All money raised supports the animal shelter in their everyday struggle to meet the basic needs of the animals they foster and shelter. For example, providing funds for food, kennels, and other necessary supplies.
