A funeral mass will be held Friday, April 22, 2022 for 84-year-old Hubert Dale Prevallet of Perryville, Mo., who passed away Saturday, April 16, 2022 at Barnes-Jewish Hospital.
He was born December 18, 1937 in Perryville, Mo., to Hubert Vincent and Florence Bergman Prevallet who both preceded him in death.
Dale and Sheridan Prevallet were married April 25, 1964 at St. Mary of the Barrens Catholic Church. She preceded him in death.
Survivors include three sons: Craig (Yvonne) Prevallet of Katy, Tex., Brian (Jane) Prevallet of Perryville, Mo., and Brad (Robin) Prevallet of Fort Worth, Tex.; a daughter: Kim (Paul) Schamel of Kirkwood, Mo.; a brother Kenneth “Bud” Prevallet of Arnold, Mo.; a sister: Verna Herron of Perryville, Mo.; 10 grandchildren: Julian Prevallet, Gabriel Prevallet, Dylan Prevallet, Jared Prevallet, Kelsey (Jessica) Cromwell, Luke Hamlin, Andrew Hamlin, Jacob Hamlin, Abigail Schamel, and Isabelle Schamel.
He was also preceded in death by three sisters: Erline Emmendorfer, Ruth Prevallet, and Ruby Prevallet
He served in the National Guard.
He was a life long farmer and was a retired rural letter carrier with the United States Postal Service.
Hubert was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Church, River Hills Antique Tractor Club and National Letter Carriers Association.
He collected and restored antique tractors.
He loved watching professional football and playing the fiddle.
Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Thursday, April 21, 2022 at Ford and Young Funeral Home in Perryville.

Burial will be at Mount Hope Cemetery in Perryville.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Perry County Senior Center.
