A funeral will be held at a later date for 82-year-old Gerold Albert Burroughs of Saint Mary, Mo., who passed away Wednesday, April 13, 2022 at Ste. Genevieve County Memorial Hospital in Sainte Genevieve, Mo.
He was born March 19, 1940 in Frohna, Mo. the son of Albert Charles Burroughs and Elda Rosa (Perr) Burroughs who both preceded him in death.
He married Shirley (Regean) Burroughs.
He is survived by a daughter: Donna Kay (Dave) Naeger of Sainte Genevieve, Mo.; a son: Gerald Lee (Cherie) Burroughs of Saint Louis, Mo.; a brother: Ilmer (Connie) Burroughs of Frohna, Mo.; two sisters-in-law: Shirley Burroughs of Altenburg, Mo. and Colleen Burroughs of Altenburg, Mo.; two grandsons: James A. Lynch II of Arnold, Mo., Jacob L. (Dawn) Lynch of Imperial, Mo.; three granddaughters: Andrea Kay Lynch of Fenton, Mo., Kaley Burroughs of Jefferson City, Mo., Lydia Burroughs of Saint Louis, Mo.; and a great-granddaughter: Evelyn Kay Clark.
He was also preceded in death by: three brothers: Jerry Burroughs, Edger Burroughs, and Kenny Burroughs; and a sister: Erna Burroughs.
Visitation will be 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. Saturday, April 23, 2022 at the Basler Funeral Home in Sainte Genevieve.
