Local students graduate from Missouri State University

SPRINGFIELD — Missouri State University awarded 1,509 degrees to students in fall 2021. The commencement ceremonies took place Dec. 17, 2021, at JQH Arena in Springfield.

The following local students earned degrees:

Maria Hermann of Bloomsdale graduated with a Master of Occupational Therapy.

Levi Lappe of Perryville graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Construction Management.

Blake Cowell of Red Bud graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Public Relations.

Michael Buchheit of Ste. Genevieve graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Exercise and Movement Science.

Ryan Palmer of Ste. Genevieve graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Management.

Jenna Papin of Ste. Genevieve graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology.

Brendan Samples of Ste. Genevieve graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Education, Elementary Education.

Students who graduated with honors completed at least 30 credit hours with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.5.
