Illinois GOP Governor Candidate Gary Rabine comments on ruling on school mask mandates

WOODSTOCK, Ill. – Gary Rabine, candidate for Illinois Governor is issuing the following statement on the recent Appellate Court ruling on the mask mandate at schools.

“For the second time in as many weeks, a court has slapped down JB Pritzker’s efforts to make parents bystanders in their kids’ health care decisions.  Clinging to the egomaniacal notion that he knows better than parents how to raise their kids and better than the courts on how to apply the law, JB will continue to assert that his Executive Order still stands.  It’s a Democracy JB, not a dictatorship.”

Rabine, 58, is a business builder and Chairman of The Rabine Group of companies, father of four and grandfather of three. He and his wife grew up and raised their family in Lake and McHenry County, Illinois. Rabine started in the paving business shortly after graduating high school; this became the Rabine Group of companies, which today does business in all fifty states and is headquartered out of Cook County in Schaumburg.
