A funeral will be held Saturday, January 22, 2022 for 73-year-old Ruby Augustus Harriet Wahl of Chester, Illinois who passed away Tuesday, January 18, 2022 at Coulterville Rehabilitation and Health Care in Illinois.
She was born September 5, 1948 in Prairie du Rocher, Ill., the daughter of Harriet Elizabeth Johnson and Gussie C. Johnson, Sr. who both preceded her in death.
She married Oliver B. Wahl. He preceded her in death.
She is survived by a daughter: Carolyn Jackson of Chester, Ill.; two sons: Clifford (Melissa) Jackson of Elk City, Okla. and Charles Jackson of Perryville, Mo.; three brothers: George H. (Mary) Johnson Sr. of Biehle, Mo., Jack D. (Mary) Johnson of Woodward, Okla., and Dennis C. Johnson of Perryville, Mo.; two sisters-in-law: Tammy Johnson and Shirley Kohms; the father of her children: Clifford A. Jackson; five grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; many nieces and many nephews; and many friends.
She was also preceded in death by two brothers: Gussie C. Johnson Jr. and Ronald L Kohms; and four grandchildren.
Ruby was very proud of her family and enjoyed cooking, sewing, and gardening.
Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Friday, January 21, 2022 at the Basler Funeral Home in Sainte Genevieve.

Burial will be at Minnith Cemetery in Minnith, Mo.
