MoDHSS reports county, state COVID-19 numbers

JEFFERSON CITY — The number of new COVID-19 cases in Missouri continues to rise according to the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Service.

 

The seven-day total of confirmed and probable cases for the period ending January 11 was 76,445 a two percent increase over the 74,927 reported on January 9.

 

The average number of confirmed and probable cases per day was around 10,921.

 

The number of confirmed and probable deaths during the period was 42.

 

The vaccination rate in Missouri is 54.5 percent for those who have completed the vaccination series.

 

Perry County had 191 confirmed and probable cases for the week ending January 11th, 43 percent higher than the seven days ending January 9th.

 

That’s a daily average of 27 new cases a day.

 

There were no deaths during the period.

 

The vaccination rate in Perry County is 39.8 percent.

 

Ste. Genevieve County had 151 new confirmed and probable cases during the seven days ending January 11th, a four percent decline over the seven days ending January 9th.

 

That’s an average of 22 new cases a day.

 

The vaccination rate in Ste. Genevieve County 45.6 percent.
