A private funeral will be held for 79-year-old Phyllis S. Oswald who passed away Thursday, December 30, 2021 at her home in Woodson Terrace, Mo.
She was born February 27, 1942 in Perryville the daughter of Chalmer J. and Leneta (Winkler) Oster who both preceded her in death.
Phyllis married Bernhard “Ben” W. Oswald on July 25, 1959 at the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Perryville. He preceded her in death.
Survivors include two sons: Keith (Marilyn) Oswald of Lake St. Louis, Mo. and Scott Oswald of Woodson Terrace; a brother: Kenneth (Delores) Oster of St. Mary, Mo.; four grandchildren: Brandon, Justin, Margaret, and Nicholas Oswald.
Phyllis was a member of Hope Lutheran Church in St. Ann, Mo.
She was a Registered Nurse at Christian Northeast Hospital in St. Louis.
She enjoyed working in her flower and vegetable gardens and going camping.
Visitation and funeral service will be private.
Burial will be at Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery in Perryville.
Memorials may be given to Hope Lutheran Church, St. Ann, Mo.
