IDPH reports COVID-19 cases have doubled since last week

SPRINGFIELD, Ill. – The Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH) Friday reported 42,559 new confirmed and probable cases of COVID-19 in Illinois, including 182 additional deaths in the week since November 26, 2021.
