A funeral will be held Friday, December 10, 2021 for 71-year-old Mary Lenora Cheek of Sainte Genevieve, Mo. who passed away Tuesday, November 30, 2021 at Mercy Hospital Jefferson.
She was born July 12, 1950 the daughter of Robert E. and Laura M. (Hagan) Johnson who both preceded her in death.
She married John M. Cheek January 3, 1973 in Waterloo, Ill. He preceded her in death.
She is survived by three daughters: Mary (Donnie) Penrose of Ste. Genevieve, Mo., Diana (Danny) Stueve of Perryville, Mo., and Jessica Cheek of Webster City, Iowa; a sister: Laura (James) Rednour of Prairie Du Rocher, Ill.; four brothers: Robert E. (Jenny) Johnson, John W. (Mary) Johnson, and William “Bud” (Vickey) Johnson all of Perrryville, Mo., and Jack (Lydia) Johnson of Worcester, Mass.; 10 grandchildren: Zachary Runge, Nicholas Runge, Derek (Lea) Runge, Danniel Stueve, Michael (Anna) Stueve, Johnathan Stueve, Kenneth Stueve, Tyler (Brittany) Stueve all from Perryville, Mo., and Amielia Lindsey and Eden Cheek from Webster City, Iowa and 17 great-grandchildren
She was also preceded in death by a sister: Joan Cisco and a brother, Larry Johnson.
She was of the Christian faith.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 12 noon Friday, December 10, 2021 at Ford & Young Funeral Home in Perryville.

Burial will be at Red Bud City Cemetery in Red Bud, Ill.
