STE. GENEVIEVE – The Ste. Genevieve School District R-II has announced it will sponsor a Veterans’ Parade, to be held Wednesday, November 10th.
The parade will begin at 12:30 p.m.
In addition to the R-II school district, the parade is sponsored by the Ste. Genevieve Rotary, Citizens Electric, Zell Jaycees, and Valle Catholic Schools, in order to honor our veterans and thank them for their service.
All veterans have been invited to participate, and information is available at the American Legion and VFW halls.
The day will also include a luncheon at the American Legion Hall for veterans beginning at 11 a.m.
The parade will leave the American Legion parking lot at 12:30 p.m., turning left on Rozier Street, then left on Fourth Street, right on Market Street, left on Main Street, left on Merchant Street, right on Fourth Street, left on LeCompte Street, left on Fifth Street and right on Washington Street, passing in front of Ste. Genevieve Elementary School before heading to the Ste. Genevieve High School gymnasium.
