Georgia Lea Carron

Georgia Lea Carron, 100, of Glasgow, Kentucky, formerly of Perryville, Missouri passed away Friday, October 1, 2021, at Hospice of Southern Kentucky in Bowling Green.

She was the daughter of the late William and Ida Stearns and the widow of Norman Carron whom she was married to for 50 years. He preceded her in death March 4, 1992.

She was born and raised in Missouri and moved to Glasgow almost six years ago to be near her son.

Left to cherish her memory are two sons: Terry Carron and wife Phyllis of Fountain Hill, Arizona and Mike Carron and wife Pam of Glasgow, Kentucky; granddaughters: Jackie (John) Cota of Livermore, California, Heather (John) Lucey of Bend, Oregon, Amy (Greg) Cardwell of Georgetown, Indiana, and Kelly (David) Green of Louisville, Kentucky; nine great grandchildren: Amanda, Shelby, John, Austin, Tyler, Hannah, Kendal, Ainsley, and Blake; and one great great granddaughter: Georgia, who was named after her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and three brothers.

A graveside service for Georgia Lea Carron will be held at Mount Hope Cemetery in Perryville, Missouri at 1 p.m. Thursday, October 7, 2021 with Deacon Direk Hunt officiating.
