Wanda E. Bollinger

In Loving Memory

A funeral will be held Saturday, August 23, 2025 for 95-year-old Wanda E. Bollinger of Sainte Genevieve, Mo. who passed away August 19, 2025.

 

She was born August 21, 1929, daughter of  Judea Myers and Ada Mae (Boyles) Myers, who both preceded her in death.

 

She married James E. Bollinger, Jr. He preceded her in death.

 

She is survived by a daughter: Linda S. (Randy) Brumfield-Ruzicka; five sons: Terry Bollinger, Ronald (Linda) Bollinger, Gary Bollinger, Gregory Bollinger, and Randy (Denise) Bollinger; a brother: Raymond Myers; grandchildren: Stacy (Jim) Bell, Shane (April) Brumfield and Jessica (Erik) Harlow; great grandchildren: Lauren and Molly Bell, Ace and Maverick Brumfield, and Claire and Isabella Harlow.

 

She was also preceded in death by: six sisters: Edna Armbruster, Pauline Hoehn, Artie Myers, Ruth Myers, Melba Stroup, and Veda Scott; and five brothers: Clark Myers, Thomas Ed Myers, Carl Myers, Rev. Luther W. Myers, and Charles Myers.

 

She was a member of Holy Cross Lutheran Church.

 

Wanda was proud of her large family of 13 siblings and especially proud that her parents and surviving brother Ray all lived to be over 100 years old.

 

Wanda was an avid Cardinal fan and the Cardinals were not allowed to start until Momo was in her chair.

 

She was a great cook and everyone always looked forward to Sunday dessert night at Momo’s house.

 

Wanda will be missed by family and friends and all who knew and loved her.

 

Visitation will be 9-11 a.m. Saturday, August 23, 2025 at the Basler Funeral Home in Sainte Genevieve, Mo.

 

A funeral for 95-year-old Wanda E. Bollinger of Sainte Genevieve, Mo. will be held at 11:30 a.m. Saturday, August 23, 2025 at the Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Ste. Genevieve.

 

Burial will be at Valle Spring Cemetery in Ste. Genevieve, Mo.
