STE. GENEVIEVE – A Valle Catholic High School freshman has finished in third place in the annual Voice of Democrcy Contest.
Levi Fallert is the son of Kevin Fallert and Kelly Fallert.
A seventh grader at Valle Middle School: Alivia Viox, finished among the top three in a separate contest for her Patriot’s Pen essay.
She is the daughter of Jeff and Angela Viox.
Levi and Alivia are shown with representatives from VFW Post 2210, Lois Flieg and Paul Brischle.
Both students read their essays at a Friday morning reception honoring Veterans in the DuBourg Centre.
This year’s theme was “How Are You Showing Patriotism And Support For Our Country?”
