CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. — Two Perryville women are among 10 Southeast Missouri State University students who have been named finalists for the 2025 Man and Woman of the Year awards, which recognize outstanding student leaders who exemplify academic excellence, campus involvement and community service.
Sponsored by various campus organizations, the finalists include Sophie Martin and
Maddie Robinson, both of Perryville; and Lainey Canning, Sarah Chapman, and Sophia Ruffatto for Woman of the Year, and Nathan Anderson, Grant Breece, Romell Johnson, Logan Pruitt and Drew Roth for Man of the Year.
The winners will be announced during SEMO’s Homecoming game on Saturday, October 18.
