Two hurt in Route C crash in Perry County

JEFFERSON CITY — Two persons were hurt in a traffic crash on Route C in Perry County Saturday night.

 

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports the 28-year-old male driver had serious injuries and a 26-year-old female passenger had moderate injuries. Both were taken to Mercy Hospital Perry, the driver by Air Evac helicopter and the passenger by ambulance.

 

Neither was using a safety device.

 

The patrol says the crash happened when a northbound 2020 Polaris Ranger slid across the center of the roadway, traveled off the left side of the roadway and overturned, ejecting both the driver and the passenger.

 

The crash happened about 8:39 p.m. south of Perry County Road 358.

 

The Polaris had minor damage and was removed by Boyd’s Towing.
