A celebration of life will be held at a future date for 72-year-old Tommy M. Brown of Ellis Grove, Ill., who passed away at 10:01 pm, Sunday, June 15, 2025 at Three Springs Senior Living and Rehabilitation in Chester, Ill.
He was born February 1, 1953 in Red Bud, Ill. to Alan Rust Brown and Jeanette Brown Mulholland who both preceded him in death.
He is survived by a son: Brandon (Beth) Brown of Chester, Ill.; a brother: Robert (Nancy) Brown of Cape Coral, Fla.; two sisters: Kay Brown Rader (Jim Kloth) of Chester, Ill. and Sherry Biermann Brown (Bruce Butler) of Apache Junction, Ariz.; a daughter in law: Dusty Kaesberg (Tommy Brown) Steeleville, Ill.; three grandsons: Blake, Brady and Pierce Brown; two granddauhters: Taylor and Maelee Brown; a great granddaughter: Adalyn Blessing; two nieces: Jennifer Brown and Angela (Trent) Vasquez and three nephews: Russ (Elizabeth) Rader, Adam Biermann and Bracy (Linda) Biermann.
He was also preceded in death by a son: Tommy A. Brown
Tom was retired and enjoyed working on his truck, motorcycles and boats. He was known by all his friends as the best diesel mechanic in Southern Illinois.
Tom always talked about his kids and how proud he was of them.
Tom loved visiting his mother and sister in Arizona from the past several years.
He also loved to spend time with his brother, sister and their families whenever he could.
It was Tommy’s wish to be cremated.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
Memorials may be made in Tommy’s honor to the family and are being accepted at Pechacek Funeral Home in Chester.
