A funeral will be held Friday, October 10, 2025 for 56-year-old Todd Randall Dunn of Chester, Illinois, who passed away at 6:40 a.m., Wednesday, October 8, 2025 at Memorial Hospital, Shiloh, Illinois.
He was born November 9, 1968 in Murphysboro, Ill. to Tobias Berger and Joyce (nee Leinicke) Dunn. His father preceded him in death. His mother survives in Ruma, Ill.
He is also survived by two children: Autumn Dunn of Chester and Carson Dunn of Chester; two
siblings: Steve (Susie) Leinicke of Red Bud, Ill. and Gregg Leinicke of Evansville, Ill.; and nieces and nephews: Jerina (Dustin) Reese, Jarred Leinicke, Brooke Dunn and Colton Dunn.
He was also preceded in death by his grandparents: Raymond and Dorothy Leinicke; two brothers: Scott and Blake Dunn and a brother-in-law: James Hallahan.
Todd was a passionate farmer. His love for farming ran deep, and so did his loyalty to John Deere.
He was an active member of Ducks Unlimited and was an avid St. Louis Blues fan.
Visitation will be 9-11 a.m. Friday, October 10, 2025 at the Pechacek Funeral Homes in Chester, Illinois.

Interment will be in the Evergreen Cemetery in Ava, Illinois.
Memorials may be made to the family or to St. Mary’s Catholic School.
