Today is Department of Conservation Day at the Missouri State Fair

SEDALIA – Today, Friday, Aug. 8, is Missouri Department of Conservation Day at the 2025 Missouri State Fair. Missouri Department of Conservation will offer great exhibits and demos.

 

 

Here’s a quick glance at the day’s schedule:

 

  • Free entertainment for all ages including the Anastasini Circus, Blacksmith Demonstrations, live music on the Budweiser Stage, Hedrick’s Racing Pigs Show, sponsored by Jim’s Tire Service, Inc., Kids shows and water balloon toss contest on the Kids Stage, sponsored by Your Local McDonald’s, and so much more!
  • Livestock shows all day including beef cattle, lambs, barrows, poultry and draft mules.
  • Competitive exhibits all day including floriculture, horseshoe pitching, home economics foods and the “Show-Me State Tailgate Throwdown” Barbecue Contest, sponsored by Anheuser-Busch.
  • Let’s Talk Livestock – beef cattle, sponsored by Tractor Supply Co.
  • Military Flag Retreat Ceremony honoring Charles Brazeale of Paris, MO– 5:30 p.m. at the flagpole in front of the Historic Administration Building.
  • Blues Traveler & Gin Blossoms with Spin Doctors – 7 p.m. in the State Fair Grandstand, presented by CFM Insurance; Tickets on sale now. Fireworks display, sponsored by Missouri S&T, and Spectacular Drone Show, sponsored by VISITMO.COM, immediately following the concert.

Conservation Day, Friday, Aug. 8 is a great day to visit the Missouri State Fair!
