The fire consumed grass, woods and hay bales, but no buildings were damaged. Two firefighters were treated at the scene for exhaustion and breathing related injuries.
Two units who were filling in at the Wolf Creek Fire House 1 responded to another brush fire call on Possum Hollow Road. That fire turned out to be a controlled burn.
