Tara E. Modglin, APRN, FNP-C Joins Saint Francis Cape Gastroenterology Specialists

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. – Saint Francis Healthcare System is pleased to welcome Tara E. Modglin, APRN, FNP-C to Cape Gastroenterology Specialists. Modglin graduated from Southeast Missouri State University in 2026 and is board certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. She will be providing care for patients with diseases affecting the digestive system and liver, such as gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), Chron’s disease, ulcerative colitis, and more.

Modglin is passionate about improving patient outcomes through preventative care, like early screenings for colorectal cancers. “I’m excited to continue growing in this specialty while helping patients improve their health through education, prevention and evidence-based care,” she said.  

 

Cape Gastroenterology Specialists provides comprehensive gastroenterology services, including a Gastroenterology Lab, offering patients a true continuum of digestive healthcare. These specialists diagnose, manage, and treat a variety of digestive disorders through a mix of inpatient and outpatient care.
