Sue Hagan

Sue Hagan Busse of Kirkwood, Mo. passed away January 2 surrounded by family.

 

She was born in Perryville, Mo. January 23,1948 to Lilburn (Shorty) and Esther Hagan.

 

She was preceded in death by her parents and brother David (Tammy) Hagan.

 

Sue earned a degree in nursing, was a surgical nurse, and ended her career as a school nurse.

 

A devoted mother, she cherished her two daughters Jessica Solis (Mauro) of Denver and Liz Busse (Jeff) of Seattle, who were the center of her world.

 

Her pride and happiness only grew with the arrival of her three grandchildren, Amelia, Lola, and Evan Solis, each of whom held a special place in her heart.

 

Her legacy is one of love, compassion, and deep family devotion.

 

She took great pride in maintaining close connections with her five siblings and spouses, Pat McLain (Larry), Naomi Zavislak (Ray), Mike Hagan (Kay), Liz Konarske (Paul), and Mary Crites (Doug) as well as her nieces, nephews, and their spouses. Her home and heart were always open, offering comfort, understanding, and a listening ear.

 

Per Sue’s wishes, no viewing or funeral will be held.

 

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the Missouri Botanical Garden in St. Louis or the Rocky Mountain Down Syndrome Association.

 

Her love will continue to live on through the many lives she touched. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered
