CHESTER – Sue Colonel was recognized Thursday April 2, 2026, at an all-school assembly as the March 2026 Chester Grade School “Teacher of the Month”.

Assistant Principal Dr. Petrowske also noted that Mrs. Colonel was not only being recognized for being the March 2026 Teacher of the Month. but that she had just 29 more school days left in her teaching career as she would be retiring at the end of the 2025-26 school year.
Colonel teaches Marching Band, Pep Band, Concert Band, Beginner Band, 6th Grade Band, and General Music at Chester Grade School.
