Steve loved life and simply wanted to see a smile on your face. He was quite the jokester and his laughing snort was contagious. Steve finally bought himself a rat rod and it was his pride and joy along with his famous green “Kermit” modified VW flatbed. He was a collector of everything and enjoyed going to auctions.
Steve was always willing to lend a hand and could make a friend everywhere he went. He spent many hours hanging out in his close friend, George Wehner’s shop. Steve made his rounds to all of his favorite places and he will be greatly missed. To know Steve was an honor and a blessing.
Visitation will be 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday, Dec. 13, 2024 at the Basler Funeral Home in Sainte Genevieve, Mo.
