JEFFERSON CITY – A 44-year-old Ste. Genevieve woman suffered minor injuries in a traffic crash on Highway 61 in Ste. Genevieve County Wednesday night.
The Missouri State Highway Patol says the woman was taken to Ste. Genevieve County Memorial Hospital by ambulance.
The patrol says the crash happened when a southbound 2012 Hyundai Genesis driven by the woman slowed to make a turn was struck in the rear by a 2012 Toyota Camry driven by an 18-year-old Ste. Genevieve man. He was not hurt.
The crash happened about 10:35 p.m. south of Bahr Road.
Both vehicles received extensive damage. The Camry was towed by Ste. Genevieve County Towing and the Hyundai was driven from the scene.
