Ste. Genevieve Soil & Water Announces Lady Landowner Tour

Ste. Genevieve Soil & Water Conservation District invites area women landowners to participate in the 2026 Lady Landowner Tour, a full‑day educational event designed to support local land stewardship and provide hands‑on learning opportunities. The tour will take place on September 3, 2026, and will highlight forest management practices, cost‑share programs, and agricultural management tools available to landowners.

Following check‑in, attendees will hear from two guest speakers presenting on forest management and cost‑share resources. Participants will also enjoy Women in Agriculture Bingo, complete with prizes, and a catered lunch provided by Eleven Eleven Catering. Door prizes will be awarded after lunch.

The afternoon features a series of farm tours, accessible by trolley or personal vehicle. Stops include a cost‑share barn with goats and a cost‑share grazing system. At the conclusion of the tours, the group will return to the Progress Sports Complex.
