STE. GENEVIEVE — Ste. Genevieve sales tax receipts are up by more than $44,407 so far this calendar year.
The September receipts were deposited in the city’s account at the Bank of Bloomsdale October 6th.
The Missouri Department of Revenue reports the one percent general sales tax brought in $62,559.72 in September, raising the year to date total to $592,718.22 a 7.49 percent increase over the first nine months of 2021.
The city’s two half-cent sales taxes were up by $15,882.30 each for a year to date total of $274,305.73 each.
Ste. Genevieve’s Consolidated City Use tax $10,775.41 in September and now stands at $104,646.74 so far this calendar year, an increase of $44,856.so far this calendar year.
