JEFFERSON CITY – A 35-year-old Ste. Genevieve man suffered moderate injuries in a traffic crash on Highway 32 in St. Francois County Wednesday evening.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports the man, whose name was not disclosed, was taken to Parkland Health Center for treatment.
The patrol says the crash happened about 5:57 p.m. when a Ford F150 a 61-year-old Mineral Point woman was driving eastbound approached a private drive. A 2002 Jeep Wrangler driven north by the Ste. Genevieve man failed to observe the pick up and the front of the pick up struck the driver side door of the Jeep causing the Jeep to overturn onto its side.
The patrol says both drivers were buckled up.
The F150 was a total loss and the Jeep had extensive damage. The pick up was towed by Marler’s Towing. The Jeep was towed by Buckley’s Towing.
The crash happened west of Green Road.
