A Ste. Genevieve Elementary School teacher is among 20 educators nationwide selected to receive $500 for classroom supplies through Arch Painting’s annual $10K Teacher Giveaway.
Jennifer Thomas of Ste. Genevieve Elementary School was selected at random as one of this year’s giveaway winners. The program awards a total of $10,000 to teachers across the country, with each recipient receiving $500 to help purchase supplies and resources for their classrooms.
Arch Painting, a nationwide commercial painting contractor, said the giveaway is intended to help offset some of the out-of-pocket expenses teachers face when purchasing materials for their classrooms.
“Teachers are the foundation to the communities we serve – helping to educate our future employees and customers,” said Richard Kilgannon, president and CEO of Arch Painting. “Supporting teachers has long been part of Arch Painting’s mission.”
The company said the annual giveaway is part of its effort to support the communities it serves and help educators provide the resources their students need.
Thomas was one of 20 teachers selected from across the United States for the 2026 giveaway. Other winners represented schools in Texas, Massachusetts, Virginia, North Carolina, New York, Florida, Rhode Island and Arkansas.
For Thomas and her students at Ste. Genevieve Elementary, the $500 award will provide an opportunity to add resources and supplies to the classroom during the 2026-2027 school year.
