STE. GENEVIEVE –To commemorate our veterans and active military members serving, Ste. Genevieve Elementary students in kindergarten through 5th grade created artwork about America. Students learned about the various aspects of our country that make it unique, including monuments, the military, the flag, and government leaders.
Students then created a piece of artwork either based on their view of America or to honor those who have fought for our country. Art teachers Mrs. Schnitzler and Mrs. Guilford judged the artwork based on creativity and craftsmanship and selected a winner from each class.
